Lets face it, every company in existence, uses employee data information to make business decisions. For those companies that know how to interpret their data and know what to ask for, will make a better business decisions than employee data someone only familiar with how to navigate around their desktop. A valid question would be, what manager in their right mind would not utilize the data and the information at their employee data disposal to make the necessary business decisions to be successful? The manager or employee reluctant to embrace change. Although we are in the age of technology (that goes without saying) and information is readily available for the decision makers, there are some managers employee data that exist, who are slow to embrace the use of technology beyond their desktop.
In many cases, the jargon, words and employee data phrases used in technology will vary from place of employment to place of employment, in this case, beyond the desktop would refer to a person being knowledgeable of their internal information systems and their capabilities beyond the use of their desktop. Companies employee data that use E.R.P systems in their day to day operations have managers than know how to extract useful data from these systems to make the decisions needed in business. Managers who fail to embrace the proper use employee data of this technology will quickly find themselves at a great employee data disadvantage and maybe looking for employment elsewhere.
Technology will only get more advanced employee data and more complicated for those who fail to embrace the technological changes in the near future. When companies implement new technologies, they will often have training before the new systems are deployed. Employees who are often fearful of being replaced by employee data technology will more than likely show reluctance to learning new skills. Many companies who offer training are simply offering you the chance to keep your job and many employees fail to look at it this way. If you can not change with the times you will go away with the old and employee data outdated technology.
