Hey everyone! I’ve been thinking a lot about traveling lately and wanted to ask you guys—how often do you prefer to travel somewhere? And when you do, how much money do you usually take with you? I’m trying to figure out what the best balance is between budgeting and having a great time. Do you plan months in advance or are you more spontaneous with your trips? I feel like I’m always either overspending or being too strict with my budget, so I’d love to hear how you guys manage it!

Great question! Personally, I like to travel about twice a year. It gives me enough time to save up and plan everything without feeling rushed. I usually aim for a bigger trip in the summer and a smaller getaway in the winter, depending on how things are going. As for budgeting, I like to have around $2,000 saved up for a longer trip (like a week or two) and maybe $500 to $700 in my new wallet https://www.walletking.co.uk/men-s-wallets/rfid-blocking-wallets.html for a weekend trip. I try to cover all my major expenses like flights and accommodation in advance, and then I bring extra for food, entertainment, and a little shopping. One thing that works for me is setting a daily spending limit so I don’t run out of cash halfway through my trip! What about you?
I love traveling but I’m more of a spontaneous traveler. I usually take 3-4 short trips throughout the year, rather than one or two big ones. Sometimes, I’ll just plan something last minute if I find a good deal. I think I spend about $500 to $1,000 per trip depending on the destination, but I’m a bit of a budget traveler. I love finding cheap flights, staying in affordable places, and exploring local food rather than going to expensive restaurants. It helps me stretch my budget further, and I still feel like I’m getting a rich travel experience. When I plan a trip, I focus more on experiences rather than material stuff. So, for me, it’s more about how much I can see and do with a smaller budget. Do you guys prefer splurging on luxury or going for budget-friendly adventures?
